2003-10-22 Benaroya Hall, Seattle (with DVD)

Youth Care benefit at Benaroya Hall was one of the best ever Pearl Jam performances. A semi-acoustic show with very special "slow-tempo" set-list in front of 2500 die-hard fans could hardly be forgotten. The band was perfect (the only mistake of the day was Mike and Stone both forgetting what to play before the second verse of "Thin Air"), Ed's singing was absolutely gorgeous, small audience created the passionate support as if they were a large arena.

2003-07-19 Mexico City, Mexico 3

Celebrating Stone Gossard's birthday with Mexican guitar trio on stage was a true grand-finale to the long and successful Riot Act tour. Before "I Believe In Miracles" Eddie had called Johnny Ramone and used the help of the audience to say hello to him. Ed hanged up after the end of the song, so Johnny could hear everything. Pearl Jam used the help of Sleater-Kinney for "Rockin' In The Free World" and ended the sing all masked. Sleater-Kinney vocalist Corin Tucker duetted with Eddie on "Hunder Strike". Ahead was Santa Barbara with Temple Of The Dog reunion and epic Benaroya Hall show.

There were fireworks somewhere outside as the band played "Wishlist". Jeff noticed it, and they decided to change the set-list a bit. 'Here's a soundtrack for the fireworks!' said Eddie, and they played "Rockin' In The Free World" in the middle of the main set.

'Who knew it could be so beautiful' - said Eddie playing in Buffalo. It was long 3-encores show, set-list full of rare songs. Short "Free Jazz" improve was a similar thing to the future "Jazz Odyssey" series. For "Soon Forget" Eddie used a black-white ukulele called 'Luc', which from afar looked like an ordinary guitar; and he was joined by the mask of Bill Gates hanging on a mic pole. For "People Have The Power" Eddie was joined by a girl who carried a paper with lyrics.

Very good and energetic show at sold-out raging Spectrum. The band was on fire, and Eddie looked apparently exhausted (but happy) when they had reached "Yellow Ledbetter".

2001 Bridge School Benefit 1+2 (with DVD)

At 2001 Bridge School Benefit October, 20 and 21 shows Pearl Jam gifted all the fans with three new songs: "Last Soldier" written by Mike McCready, "Driftin'" and "I Am Mine" from their upcoming new album. Both performances were fully "unplugged", with numerous 'regular' solos transformed into acoustic jams. "Crazy Mary" was played with guitars only and in a sort of different key. Ben Harper joined the band for both "Indifferences". These were really amazing and outstanding shows!

2000-08-29 Mansfield, MA 1

Like in the old days, Mike McCready finished "Porch" smashing and completely undoing his guitar. He played Aerosmith's "Sick As A Dog" teaser with "Yellow Ledbetter" outro. Eddie opened the encore 1 solo with "I Am A Patriot" song which he had to cease for a while due to the audience clapping out of rhythm. It seems that the last song of the show was unscheduled, for the tapers as well, that the footage of this song is only from somewhere far behind showing arms stretched screening the stage.

2011-09-03 PJ20 Festival, Alpine Valley 1 (with HD, DVD)

The first show of PJ20 festival. The set-list was extraordinary special, packed with rare songs, with many many guests on stage with Pearl Jam, duetting, trioing, quartetting or just crowding, including Temple Of The Dog reunion doing 4 songs (they have never ever played such a long set since their formation in 1990). The most notable live debute was an old Mother Love Bone song "Stardog Champion" with Chris Cornell on lead vocals. Another live debut was an obscure "In The Moonlight" song never played before. Also Eddie Vedder premierred his "Into The Wild" song "Setting Forth" with the full band. Definitely a must-have video!

2013-04-06 Lollapalooza Festival, Santiago de Chile, Chile

This day it was Mike McCready's birth-day and the band celebrated it on stage. After the encore break, as Eddie and the audience were singing 'happy birthday', Jeff stalked from behind and dumped a cake onto Mike's head. And Eddie picked up a lump of the cake's remains and threw it into the audience. '29-years old', as Ed said, Mike was glad but his hair needed some cleaning as well as his guitar.

1999-10-31 Bridge School Benefit 2 (with DVD)

Mike and Stone appeared masked as they played this nice semi-acoustic camp-fire songs set at night 2 at Bridge School Benefit. Pearl Jam premierred the second new song from their upcoming album "Binaural" - "Nothing As It Seems". "Off He Goes" was played in full acoustic.

1999-10-30 Bridge School Benefit 1 (with DVD)

A nice semi-acoustic set at Bridge School Benefit night 1, for Mike was plugged-in playing gentle quiet solos. He was great, except "Wishlist", when he missed the notes. This night Pearl Jam introduced a new song "Thin Air" from their upcoming album "Binaural".

1998-09-19 Constitution Hall, Washington DC (with DVD)

A very nice audience recording of the entire show at Constitution Hall. This time it was a "normal" 2-hours concert. The set-list included such rarities as "Act Of Love" from Mirrorball, or "Push Me Pull Me", or "Soldier Of Love". A part of "Rockin' In The Free World" was performed in very unusual way as a snippet for "Daughter". Picture quality is fortunately very good for that period.
