2011-09-03 PJ20 Festival, Alpine Valley 1 (with HD, DVD)

The first show of PJ20 festival. The set-list was extraordinary special, packed with rare songs, with many many guests on stage with Pearl Jam, duetting, trioing, quartetting or just crowding, including Temple Of The Dog reunion doing 4 songs (they have never ever played such a long set since their formation in 1990). The most notable live debute was an old Mother Love Bone song "Stardog Champion" with Chris Cornell on lead vocals. Another live debut was an obscure "In The Moonlight" song never played before. Also Eddie Vedder premierred his "Into The Wild" song "Setting Forth" with the full band. Definitely a must-have video!

After "Small Town" Eddie explaining his mistake said: "Right in the middle I had the mike on my mouth, and I realized that from the opening band, that this microphone was on that fucking guy's penis and his ass. I got a little distracted." Then he tried to button his fly but failed and the band broke into "Go".

2013-04-06 Lollapalooza Festival, Santiago de Chile, Chile

This day it was Mike McCready's birth-day and the band celebrated it on stage. After the encore break, as Eddie and the audience were singing 'happy birthday', Jeff stalked from behind and dumped a cake onto Mike's head. And Eddie picked up a lump of the cake's remains and threw it into the audience. '29-years old', as Ed said, Mike was glad but his hair needed some cleaning as well as his guitar.

1999-10-31 Bridge School Benefit 2 (with DVD)

Mike and Stone appeared masked as they played this nice semi-acoustic camp-fire songs set at night 2 at Bridge School Benefit. Pearl Jam premierred the second new song from their upcoming album "Binaural" - "Nothing As It Seems". "Off He Goes" was played in full acoustic.

1999-10-30 Bridge School Benefit 1 (with DVD)

A nice semi-acoustic set at Bridge School Benefit night 1, for Mike was plugged-in playing gentle quiet solos. He was great, except "Wishlist", when he missed the notes. This night Pearl Jam introduced a new song "Thin Air" from their upcoming album "Binaural".

1998-09-19 Constitution Hall, Washington DC (with DVD)

A very nice audience recording of the entire show at Constitution Hall. This time it was a "normal" 2-hours concert. The set-list included such rarities as "Act Of Love" from Mirrorball, or "Push Me Pull Me", or "Soldier Of Love". A part of "Rockin' In The Free World" was performed in very unusual way as a snippet for "Daughter". Picture quality is fortunately very good for that period.

1998-09-11 Madison Square Garden, NY 2 (with DVD)

The second Madison Square Garden show was fantastic. "Breath" returned to set-lists after a 4-years oblivion. As Mike fired the "Alive" solo, Eddie grappled the ramp above with his mic cable, climbed up and hanged a little while - that was never seen before!

1998-09-10 Madison Square Garden, NY 1 (with DVD)

This show was the first Pearl Jam show at famous Madison Square Garden in New York. The audience was fantastic, the band played couple of rare songs such as "All Those Yesterdays" or "Soldier Of Love" from their 1998 Holiday single. Before encore 1 the fake security guards came out with 18 boxes filled with 'show passes' in a joke about Ken Starr.

Before "Corduroy" Ed came out with a ping-pong paddle meaning to play a sort of a baseball. After short thinking he decided that it was too small and used his guitar instead. Then Jeff tossed a pick and Ed with his guitar hit it towards the audience.

1998-07-21 Memorial Stadium, Seattle, WA 1

Eddie was apparently disappointed with Seattle home crowd at this show. 'You are the sleepiest god damn crowd at this side of Portland' - he said after "Leatherman". There was no sing-along at "Better Man", and Ed was calm and reserved. Anyway there was a lot of crowd surfing, and Mike was on fire playing a good deal of powerful solos including "Alive" solo with guitar behind his head.

At the end of "Spin The Black Circle" Eddie gently laid Mike on the floor and spinned him by his legs, and being spinned Mike never stopped playing. After the end of "Baba O'Riley" Ed smashed and destroyed his guitar.

This is a single camera audience video of the entire show. Picture quality is nice, but video stumbles at the end of "Alive" for about 10-15 secs, while the audio goes ok.

1998-07-05 Dallas, TX (Rodman show) (with DVD)

Dennis Rodman made unexpected appearance at this show jumping onto the stage from somewhere in a Texas hat, and he had become a part of the show until the very end, sitting on Jeff's stool, or moving around, or singing back vocals. For the last song Pearl Jam was joined by the Murder City Devils band, and while they played long Rodman was circling around hauling short Eddie by the arm like if he were a kid or a ball.

This is an audience very good multi-camera video of the entire show. Picture quality is average because of graining like if it was stretched from a lower resolution.

1998-06-30 Minneapolis, MN

"My Generation" was not a couple of notes - the band jammed with this The Who rocker about 3 minutes, and then Eddie reverted the "Porch" intro to "My Generation" theme. After the "Noise Of Carpet" tag on "Daughter" Ed had a good three minutes of nice vocal chanting to the tune of something like future 'Mother hear me' or like that.

This is good two-camera edited audience recording of the entire show, video stream stumbles a bit towards the end.

1998-06-14 Tibetan Freedom, Washington DC (with DVD)

Tibetan Freedm concert before the large crowd in Washington DC, day 2. Mike McCready was on fire and after the "Brain Of J." he threw his guitar away and, not letting his technician save it, picked it up and smashed at the floor. 'Don't forget this is non-violent concert,' - phlegmatically commented Eddie. After Pearl Jam's set unannounced and unexpected Red Hot Chili Peppers jumped on to the stage and using Pearl Jam's equipment played an amazing short set. After that the choir of Tibetan monks sang a sort of Tibetan native tune - it was the "Closing ceremony".

This is multi-camera audience video. DVD includes only Pearl Jam's set. Avi video is from different source, picture quality is good (even better than DVD as it seems). Though video stream is stumbling at some places, avi video includes Red Hot Chili Peppers' set and "Closing ceremony".

2003-04-12 House Of Blues, Orlando, FL (with DVD)

Tickets to this long 3-encores club show were distributed via radio contest. Improv after "Deep" is long and song-like, played by the full band. "Blue Red Grey" is The Who song.

This is a professional video (looks like a broadcast). DVD is by DTS. To fit a single DVD it was shrunken to lower resolution, so the picture quality in full screen or on large wide tv is not fantastic. I've encoded wmv version to larger resolution instead of the original to minimize the graining effect while watching in full screen. If someone has got 720x480 multi-DVD, please, share.

1996-09-29 Randall's Island, New York, NY 2 (with DVD)

Great 2-nd night show at Downing Stadium, NY. No rain, no mud - everything was fine, and enthusiastic raging crowd enjoed this very long performance which was stopped for a couple of times to calm people down. It's reported. that as the "Porch" jam was moving on, Ed wrapped his entire body with a sort of tape and then dived into the audience (unfortunately this very moment had not been recorded since the video tape went out). "Jeremy" was performed as (new) "No Jeremy".

This is an audience video of the entire show, except part of "Porch" jam missing due to tape change and the end of "Yellow Ledbetter" due to battery exhaustion (audio finished with blank screen). DVD video is split to 3 single-layer DVD discs.

1996-11-24 Cascais, Portugal 1 (with DVD)

This very intense Portuguese show was the very rare occasion where the audience could see some stage diving from Eddie Vedder after he gave up his early years wild on-stage habits. During "Porch" jam Ed jumped into the crowd and after some surfing returned with his shirt rent, like in old good times. At this show the band played "Portugal Portugal" improv for the first time.

This is an audience video, shot by Miguel Afonso, DVD is by Kobra Videos, audio is a bit too loud.

1996-11-13 Forum, Milan, Italy (with DVD)

Mind blowing audience support (level with best Madison Square Garden or Spanish-Portuguese shows) and great set-list made this Italian concert rock. Ed sang a sort of improv 'I wish I'd never woke up this morning' as a tag for "Daughter".
