2012-07-10 Copenhagen, Denmark (with DVD, HD)

In Denmark Ed didn't seem to fully recover from his illness, and it was rather too hot at this venue, but his voice was good and strong, and the show rocked despite not large at all capacity to fill. Many fans in the pit followed the band throughout the whole tour, and Ed thanked them, stating that wrighting songs is not that hard as touring, and now they know what it is like. So they are fit to start their own bands and go touring! After band introduction Mike had suddenly found out something wrong with his guitar or something, and Eddie made another joke saying 'Thank you, good night!' and going out with his bottle of wine. But even as Mike started playing "Baba O'Riley", he quickly returned.

2012-07-09 Oslo, Denmark (with DVD, HD)

Before coming to Norway Eddie fell ill, and at the show in Oslo he looked far from well, soaking wet with sweat from the cold, not chatty at all with his aching throat, drinking less wine and more tea. But despite disease, he and the whole band made this show rock, and Ed's voice somehow sounded strong and much more alive than at the early dates. He definitely appreciated the warmth of Norwegian crowd, and his mood gradually grew lighter as the show went on. 'I feel better now!' - cried Eddie before the final song. Mike McCready was on fire and closed "Yellow Ledbetter" with another Eruption-like solo. The audience was once again chanting 'Let Stone sing!', and Stone sang for them "Mankind" on the lead vocals. "Red Mosquito" was a request from Moscow, "Immortality" was played with intro.

2012-07-07 Stockholm, Sweden (with DVD, HD)

'Let's go have a drink, where are we going?' said Eddie after the final bow. Audience reception in Stockholm was amazing, people were very supportive. The band was in great mood, Eddie talked a lot, his voice improving from show to show was almost perfect but lasted until "Do The Evolution", maybe because of too intensive wine consumption. Anyway Ed's voice was much better in comparison to early 2012 dates.

2012-07-05 Berlin, Germany 2 (with HD, DVD)

Second night in Berlin was the show about Mike McCready. He played a part of 'Eruption' solo before "Sad", and then he closed the show with a sort of 'Eruption' based "Yellow Ledbetter" solo. 'This is Miky Van Halen, mmm... Mike McCready right there!' - introduced him Ed. Another highlight was unexpected jam, when prior to "Corduroy" Ed faced some technical problems with his equipment. Other band members after short conversation played improvisational jam with some nice Mike's solo work. Never happened such an amazing live thing since many years, maybe since 90's when Pearl Jam often played live improv compositions. This jam was good, not short, and very smooth, so it could be considered as a piece of their rehearsal work for the new album. Why not?
Ed voice was getting better and better with each night, and Berlin-2 was not bad at all. Audience was very hot, restlessly crowd-surfing, so Ed two times for one show had to urge people in the pit to make steps back.

2012-07-04 Berlin, Germany 1 (with DVD, HD)

In Berlin Ed's voice slightly improved in comparison to previous shows, though still was hoarse. Audience was very enthusiastic, performing a lot of crowd surfing. Near the end of "Jeremy" the gigantic banner 'We Keep On Rockin In The Free World With U' appeared on the right-side balcony, and Ed addressed it introducing Neil Young as a songwrighter for the band and saying that this was one of the biggest banners he had ever seen. Ray Cameron (Matt's son) joined the band on the stage taking Mike's guitar (Mike armed himself with tambourine instead), while Stone broke into his firing solo for "Rockin' In The Free World". Before "Even Flow" Mike's mother came onto the stage, and the audience sang 'Happy Birthday' very loudly to honor her.

2012-07-02 Prague, Czech Republic (with DVD, HD)

'Dobry vecher! (good evening)' - were the first words of Eddie before the band started this long and tense show. 'Dobry vecher' - he repeated before the last song (actually saying hello instead of good-bye), but the crowd pardoned him instantly. Throughout the whole show the band received very warm, unexpectedly warm welcome. As Boom was playing "Wasted Reprise" Ed talked about his recent injury, about how he couldn't even use his right arm and didn't know whether he could play in a band, and how happy he is here before such a wonderful audience. Before "Yellow Ledbetter" Ed joked in Czech something about inviting people to drink beer and promising to pay for it ('ya platit!' or like that).

After the first verse of "Do The Evolution" Eddie improvised some sing-along with the crowd, bewildering the other band members and disrupting the whole song, but this mess was a great moment of live fun, and everyone enjoyed. The audience continued singing 'oo-uo-oh!' before the 2-nd encore making Eddie dance a bit. Ed improvised more, completely altering lyrics for "Save It For Later" tag. "Unthought Known" ended with a broken string in Ed's guitar. Ed's voice was worn and hoarse, but at the beginning of the show he sounded almost fresh.

2012-06-30 Arras, France (with DVD)

After "Corduroy" Eddie said, that the band on the neighbouring stage is so loud that he wonders whether they could do "Nothingman" louder or not. The sound of this band can be heard throughout the whole show. And at the final bow, after a short conversation with Stone, Ed laughed: 'I don't know who they are, but I just wanna thank them too, they were part of the show.' And as Mike was making pictures with his new camera, Ed, Jeff, Matt and Boom started dancing to their music! Prior to "Breath" Ed told another story of the past: almost 30 years ago, while he was making music in his bedroom, Jeff and Stone were already in a band, and through these years they had any kind of relationship.
This French show was the show of many bottles of wine for Ed. After "Jeremy" he said: 'This is the most memorable bottle of Bordeaux that I had in my whole life time!' And as the band broke into "Alive", Ed totally messed the whole first verse. And after "Yellow Ledbetter", for which Mike altered his parts, Ed poured the rest of his wine on to his head. His voice at this show was very hoarse (the lowest moment for him was "Black" outro), but better than at the previous dates.

2012-06-27 Amsterdam, Netherlands 2 (with DVD, HD)

The set-list for the second sold-out night at Ziggo Dome was written with the help of Brian, a member of Ten Club since very early date (he joined the band on stage for the farewell bow). Only 2 songs from the previous show were repeated, no "Do The Evolution", no "Even Flow" and no some other such usually played songs gave space for plenty of rarities, such as "Bugs". "Bugs" was performed live for the second time ever, this time with guitar instead if accordion, and with slightly altered lyrics ("bugs is the places that no one will ever know..."). Instead of opening the show, "Release" was the song to open the 1-st encore. Ed's vocal form was far from best. His voice cracked during "Glorified G", and he suffered for the rest of the show, though he enjoyed a very enthusiastic reception from the audience. As Mike played solo for "Alive", Eddie got to the left side of the stage and was surprised to meet a new kind of sign forbidding crowd surfing.

Pearl Jam played Dutch shows in a brand new hall called Ziggo Dome. And it was the place to introduce live the new cover "Better Things", which was released earlier not long ago as 2011 Holiday single. As it often happens before non-English speaking crowds, Ed addressed the audience in their language (before "Small Town"), and did it in very funny way! Eddie faced obvious difficulties with his throat singing "Lukin" and messed lyrics for "Not For You".
